Anyone use an intercom system and if so offer me any advice please.
I ahve seen some cheapo units on eblag as I won't use it very often but they all seem mono devices. I fancy patching in my phone so I can listen to its mp3 player or use the phone but also chat to my pillion.

I can vouch for Autocom - watch out for special prices for brand new kits. We use an Active 7 which you can plug in an MP3 or phone on seperate 3.5 jacks. Control box sits nicely under the seat at rear end - sticky back velcro tape to fix. I have never used the phone on the bike. MP3 volume is not brilliant (might just be mine ?)above 40 but comms are good at over 70 mph. I also use my Tomtom One which is also connected via a 3.5mm lead

i have a old pro 1 system i used to use when i was a courier, have used the phone and music, it has served me well on the bike. Ihave used it at well over a ton plus so it does work. But u can also get the starcom 1 unit, which is said to b better or just as good. Have tacken mine off the bike now as i don't use it that much, but it is a good system .
Hope this helps.

I've got an autocom active7 fitted to the divy and Intaride Evo to the Fazer. Both have worked well up to now. (The whole evo kit has gone back this weekend for testing with the new intaride radio as i've been unable to get shut of the electrical interference, but intaride have been exellent with regards to the whole matter).
But either set up isn't particularly cheap!

Autocom units are now going for reduced prices in their end of year sale. Grab a bargain whilst you can.
