Threatening thunderstorms to the east and north meant we were more or less confined to the coastal strip betwee the ocean and the Darling Ranges; in other words, the metropolitan area. Weather was mild, sky (for now) clear--perfect riding conditions. Purely by chance we found ourselves near the Aviation Museum at Bullcreek (south of the river), so we decided to have a look around. Fabulous collection, and it was easy to spend a couple of hours just drifting around the exhibits. I even found my next bike there! The Lancaster bomber and the Spitfire blew me away. They also have a marvellously refurbished Catalina on display; their newest acquisition. Then it was on to the port of Fremantle at the mouth of the Swan River. We wandered into Fishermen's Harbour for lunch. Grilled fish, salad and chips and a (small for me) glass of ice-cold riesling sitting up above the crowd looking out over the water. Leisurely lunch, then -- as you can see from the sky -- we noticed the rain was coming. Quick dash back up the coast had us both marvelling at the lightning out to sea. Made it to within about half a mile of home before our luck ran out and we were hit by a flurry of big, fat raindrops that actually hurt at 60 km/h! Spent the rest of the afternoon wiping down and polishing the old girl (err ... the bike, not Mrs BIWOZ) with a larger glass of wine and the garage roller door open while the rain hammered down outside. Hope your Sunday was as good!

Went to the opening of a new bike showroom in Swindon..... BSB riders attending, auctions and hot dogs a-plenty. Glorious day, rode the scenic route back to Slough taking in half of Wiltshire, Wantage, across Oxfordshire and home. Lovely day.

Not too sure Link Was down by roundabout about 50 yds up bradford road. No doubt the jungle drums will be beating tonight as to what went on. So if you know where the takeaway is we are 2 doors down (excluding the old post office) so knock on the door if u r passing if the cars are there ;D Cheers Paul

A car was travelling towards Otley when it clipped the back end of a car parked opposite us. The car flipped and a range rover which was avoiding it ended up in our drive. We have an extra wide opening from when we had a caravan. The emergency vehicles also used it to park. Still a lot of and about from what i presume was a fuel spillage.
