I bought something off ebay on 27/3/07 Still waiting for it to arrive Sent vendor an email inquiring about it on 10/4/07 no answer 13/4/07no answer 16/4/07 no answer 21/4/07 no answer Now patience has run out Do U think it would now be quite reasonable to give them massively negative feedback and abandon all hope of item turning up Have read the ebay rules and as item is under £15 it is not possible to lodge a claim against vendor

i would say so,if you bought something & it ain't arrived within, lets say 14 days i would certainly leave a bad comment against them as they haven't bothered to answer your emails,of which i would add to the comments if you decide to do it.

Not best pleased with my recent transaction. £5.50 postage charged on a DVD, 4 days later no sign of it, of course the money was taken from my paypal account on the transaction day Be interesting to see what the actual postage cost was.

it might be a good idea to put bad ebayers names/shops on display so that no-one else gets ripped of by them. name & shame them i say.

How did you pay ? If pay pal then try that route as a dispute. As to a dvd even via 1st class recorded its only £1.33 Think you can do something about exesive postage charges.

Leaving bad feedback usually results in the other party doing the same, ebay is constantly being ruined by idiots that either don't send out the goods or commit to buy your item and then don't go through with the purchase.
I agree with the naming and shaming.

I paid via Paypal, turns out they are the culprits by sending me an email saying the seller had been paid, not true, it takes 7-10 days to clear funds, which amazes me in this electronic money transfer age. I have had no money taken out my bank account yet. Transaction date was 18th, expected clearance date is 27th, I should have zoomed down to the blokes shop! As for £5.50 postal charges I'm expecting it to be wrapped in gold leaf ;D I think I'll go back to good old cheques, don't want to risk the credit card with the Tamil Tigers on the loose

Left neg feedback couple of days ago,got email today from seller: Hi :. I'm so sorry I haven't been on ebay for ages I did send it the day after you paid, and have the recipt to prove it. My other items posted at the same time have all arived. I can only assume it has been lost in the post. Today I will contact the post office and if they don't know what has gone wrong I will give you a full refund. I sorry for the problem and the delay in response. Danielle Then: I've contacted the post office and they say that cos its over 15days it's probably lost and they have prvided me with a claim form. Would you be happy to accept a refund now, i'm not sure what else I can do, agin sorry for the trouble. Danielle. Hmm The bit I don't understand is :I'm so sorry I haven't been on ebay for ages The messages I sent were done via my ebay which also sends an email to your email address so would have expected her to see those. If she really did post it then I would feel a bit guilty asking for money back unless p.o. are going to compensate her. I suppose if p.o. have given her a claim form maybe it was insured, better ask I suppose.

Mate, take the refund if it's offered. She sounds genuine enough - or she wouldn't be offering. I don't offer refunds if lost in post - I get a receipt, but tell buyers that if they want postal insurance it's up to them to pay for it.Once it's in the hands of the post office, it's not my responsibility. If it's high value I send it on a next day courier.

You wnot see a penny back, at least with PP or Visa you do have some comeback. Its just petrol you should never pay for with you debit/credit card..... If you are ever buying online pay by visa, not debit card and if its over £100 always by credit card.

Had a couple of items I've bought in the last 6 months go missing. 1st seller refused to believe I'd not recived the item and kept fobbing me off so I put in a claim via paypal. As they failed to respond to paypal I was awarded a complete refund. Was going to leave negative feedback, but the spitefull b1tch would have probably done the same to me!
2nd instance, the seller was most helpful and gave full refund. Then claimed back from the post office. I left him positive feedback for his customer service.
I had a mug break that I sent out to somone, only one to do that, looked like some postie had stamped on the box in his stilletos or something! Guy got a replacement from me and has been back for more mugs!
Hope this helps ;D
