I have a squeak, even when not moving, squeaks with clutch in or out, gets worse randomly as i'm riding. Anyone have an idea? i've just fitted a new chain and sprocket kit last week, chain is nicely oiled.

hehe
well its not shocks, rev counter, swing arm, mouse in air filter or oil. Could be something to do with the clutch i guess, i decided to book it into the garage, just to be on the safe side.
It sounds like a chain going round with no oil on it, only mine is new and it does it at traffic lights too.

I wouldn't wonder if the swingarm bearings were dry. It's better to strip clean and re-grease than hope it wasn't that - it's not a bad idea to keep on top of that if you're keeping the bike

After scanning through the haynes manual, i'm pretty sure its something to do with the cam chain, possibly a tensioner is broken, i thought it sounded like a chain, but didn't realise there was one in the engine lol!
Any recommendations? should i just get it in bits and see what happens?
