Hi. Can anyone tell me what electrical parts from previous models will fit my 99, 600s? I want to have some spares as back up should anything go wrong. For example- coils, CDI unit, voltage regulator, relays, etc . Thanks in advance.

coils, reg/rec relays should be the same CDI may be a different kettle of fish, you will have to match that one as some were different on the earlier models, would have thought alternator and starter should be the same, I may be corrected though

Very annoying to put it mildly

Just to rub everyones nose in it, I put a bid in for a divvy 6 wiring loom on ebay approx year and a half ago. Didn't actually need one but it was in the wrong category so had no bids (in with the car stuff!) and won it for £2.50 plus £3.00 postage. Thought it may be a useful spare for that sort of cash. Contacted the (lady) seller in question about payment as unclear and she was happy with a bank transfer, so did that following morning. Two days later a wiring loom arrives, complete with every relay, coils, CDI unit, reg/rec box, handlebar switches, fuse box....... I gave her positive feedback even though the starter motor was missing Ady ;D P.S. the postage cost 8 quid, and being the gentleman I am I contacted her and offered more but she wouldn't have it. So I banged another tenner in her account anyway. Not all ebay sellers are crook, lets put it that way.
