Hello all!
I am looking to have my carburetors rebuilt professionally. The mechanic is going to bill 4.5 hours to do so. His labor rates are $80/hr.
I have no idea how long this will / should take someone. I just want it done correctly, the first time.
Thank you in advance! -Cheers!

I know it would take me quite a bit longer than 4 1/2 hours!
Have you had a look to see if you can pick up a new set of carbs on e-bay? It might be cheaper than a rebuild.

Killer!!!
Carbs do not need to be run through. Plugs fixed the issue!
Sweet mother of pearl thank you!

Moral 2 - Be careful who you ask Some people can cost you Load$ sorting out non existent problems. Though the good guys will do a proper job.
