Hi where's the cheapest place for chain and sprocket kit ? Also couple of questions what diff is there between pre and post 95 kit and will it fit bike is a 92/93 600s . Also how hard is it to change ? I'm not worried about rear sprocket more with changing front

MPS/thefastone www.thefastone.co.uk/ have an DID o ring chain and sprocket set for £60. Changing the front sprocket is pretty straightforward. Just remember to loosen the nut before you remove the wheel (you can use the back brake to stop the rear wheel turning). You will need a 32mm socket/spanner to fit the nut (that was for a 1999 model). Joining the new chain is the only tricky part. This is easier with the chain off the bike but you would need to remove the rear swingarm. Removal of the rear swing arm is very easy and it will give you the opportunity to re-grease the necessary bits (and inspect the swing arm for rust/repaint etc). Forgot to mention - I had about 9 years of dirt/gunk in great big lumps trapped inside the front sprocket cover.....
