I just crossed the atlantic twice with only a few things in my brief case. I left all of my clothese packed up in the US office. Now that I have been a smarty pants........... Got into Washington DC yesterday about 15:00. Immigration, customs and into a taxi to go to the new appartment I'm living in for the next 10 weeks. It is cheaper and more fun than a hotel room. Got there about 16:00, local time. After four hours of paper work (including acknowledging the company carbon policy, I eventually got the keys to the appartment. Went to the local shop. Bought a tooth brush and paste, cleaned teath and crashed out. It had been another 20 hour day. I've just commuted into the office in day old clothes (jeans, trainers, polo shirt and bike jacket) found my cases. Washed and shaved in the loos and managed to find a clean, but very crumpled shirt, plus a change of smalls. However, my suits are so crumpled that there is no way I can wear them today, so jeans it is. Travel light, get caught out. To answer the questions - it used to be wallet and mobile. I'll now be adding a tooth brush to the list.

Should have had this information last year. Rode to work one time, removed my over-trousers - oops, no trousers underneath In this Royal County of Berkshire, a pair of jeans quickly purchased from the nearby Scope shop cost me £10 to cover my embarrassment

....... yeah my keys. I did that stupid trick about a month ago. It was a toss up between waiting 6 hours for one of the kids to come back (and pray he had got his keys), break in (and get Pete to come back and fix the damage. Or phone Pete and ask him to travel nearly 100 miles back to let me in....... Good job i had got the dog as i went round me mates and got blathered instead on home made wine. You can drink an awful lot of wine in 6 hours ;D
