Having just spent most of the morning queuing in 3 Banks locally I was just wondering if anyone else feels the same as me.
I normally do mundane stuff online but in connectoin with more complicated matters I had to go and speak to a human being, ( from this continent too )
It just amazes me that they now seem to have a maximum of 3 tills open at one time, My local HSBC only has the facility for 2 tills and generally one of them is closed with the counter staff hiding behind a screen picking their nose or something. This despite it being in a County Town and the local Councils have their accounts there so they are making mega bucks!
For once in my life I don't owe them a great deal of money, am a relatively good customer. Why do people put up with standing in a queue for 20 minutes.
Gone are the days when the customer was king, now we are just a pain in the backside it seems.
OK rant over

iooi would you be talking of First Direct?
If so no point, still have to queue to pay in cheques for SWMBO's business, I don't trust those machines!
Getting old and crotchety, it must be time for a Fazer!
