Just been over and collected my mates GSXR 750 (1992 Model) Been stored for the past 5 years, engine NOT run for the past 4 years Took out the plugs, checked looked OK. Took out the Air Filter, Checked, re-oiled and re-fitted. Took off the Tank, empty, wash out and filled (replaced fuel filters as well) Battery DEAD. New battery fitted............................ Key in the ignition & after 3 or 4 tries she booms into life Off to the garage & filled the tyres with air (not cracked or perished ) Rode it back to my house........What a laugh Haven't ridden a bike like this in years and boy was it fun. I shall be getting it sorted for its MOT and TAX and fingers crossed he should be back in the country in 5 or 6 months and ride it away (Road legal bike at long last ) Photo'sNice bike in VERY good condition. Didn't blast home (though I REALLY REALLY wanted to ) Going to strip it down and make sure everything is as it should be THEN I get to play ;D

that is a very nice looking bike may u have many happy years together Months ONLY. I only have it to get it back to Road Legal. He is working in Saudi and comes back in November (when its raining and snowing) thats when I hand it back. I am to flipping old for a bike like this, I feel like a have been squeezed onto it and getting your feet on the pegs is a nightmare

ooooh, looks just like my old one. Mine was a H reg, GSXR750M Lovely bike, very big grin factor, great fun to ride and I really loved the looks I got from bystanders when they realised it was "a Girl riding That!!!" ;D ;D ;D ;D But it was too tall and heavy for me, I could have handled the weight if I could have got both feet flat on the floor, but despite lowering it I couldn't and dropped it a couple of times. Now if they could have made one in Doofer size (yeah ok, PW50 anyone?) I'd happily have another, mind you even I felt cramped up riding it so it would be for fun only with another more sensible bike for practical use. Have fun playing with it Colin, if you have any trouble getting it roadworthy Bloke knows his gixxers pretty well and all their odd little quirks, so feel free to bounce any ideas or questions this way.
