Interesting that! Wellingborough; I only know of one bike dealer in Wellingborough and they sell bikes from these shores, unless of course it used.......................
What might it be then Paul? The new Sprint, maybe a new Tiger, possibly the S3, or have gone completely the other way and gone for one the classics Bonnie, America or Legend? Maybe gone off the scale with big beast a Rocket III would lurve to see one of those on a divvie run. Or maybe just floated the boat out and got yourself a 675........................
Maybe I'm completely of the mark!

Nope Berlin - it's not a Trumpet. If I wanted one of those there's a certain M40man who would gladly sell me his very reasonably priced example. Don't read anything into Wellingborough - bike I'm buying is a private sale. Will finalize the deal next Sunday so will post details then. Wouldn't want to tempt fate or anything Paul

This is a big surprise, Paul. After "the look" Claire gave you when you said you wanted another bike Well done, and looking forward to seeing it, whatever it is. Trevor

Ahhh yes - that look. After 25 years of marriage I've learnt to interpret those looks and they can be roughly graded as follows:
1) The look that says: "No way - over my dead body"
2) The look that says: "Do it if you must but don't think for a moment I'll forget and I'll just be waiting for the right moments to remind you"
3) The look that says: "Well I suppose it's alright"
It took several weeks of subtle hints about a new bike to get the look downgraded from a 1) to a 2)
;D ;D ;D

I must agree with Teff on this one that the more subtle hints and small discussions on what you want the better it is to obtain what your after.

Agree with Paul & Ade on the grading and hint system. The real trick is to eventually turn it around so they end up convinced it was their idea in the first place. I've seen this technique in use (successfully) by my father but haven't quite mastered it yet myself. Still the 'puppy' I guess Ady
