as title, my 600 is dripping lots of oil when parked up at home/work (more when on the side stand for some reason) and am waiting on the breather modification kit from yamaha, but i would like to know whats good at getting the oil out of the concrete and wash away with hose/rain as its a mess to look at.
cheers.

Being a messy sod, when I drip oil (during changes/leaks etc) I always get a little bit of dry soil from my garden (you know the stuff, the stuff the spade wont penetrate!!) spread a little over the oil, rub it in with my size 12, and then leave for a day. Then simply brush it up, and after a while the stain becomes un-noticable
Cheers Andy

I put down cement powder, wait a few minutes for it to soak in and then brush away.
I believe this is what they used in the old days of motor racing before modern powders were developed.

Or just use plain old washing-up liquid, after all it has been designed to break down grease and oil.

Thanks for that as i have recently been parking bike on side stand on a night when i have got home from work... Noticed the other day that there was a large amount of oil on the floor.... As i had planed to lavish some TLC on my beast this weekend i left it. Having just changed oil and filer and put 2.6 ltr of oil in all seemed sound. Just been for a nice 10 mile run, left it on c/s for a few mins ticking over and all was OK. Put it in garage and as a after thought said to mrs get me some paper just in case i have any drips. Bike is on side stand at this point, she brings me it, as i'm putting it down before jacking it onto center stand looks down and WTF there is oil pouring out of the breather pipe.... gets it onto c/s and it stops. Not sure as what to tackle next as looking in haynes manual it says air filter under left cover.... Not on mine it aint, so any advice where it is ? Is it under tank, or in that large round thing at back of cylinders with starter motor above ?
