After an excellent trip down to the land of the piskies (Cornwall) last weekend and bagging a few RBR landmarks imagine my surprise when I return home to find the gate to my back garden unlocked. I definitely bolted the gate before leaving. Imagine my joy when I entered the garden to find my better half's Honda C90 no longer parked in the garden! Yep, some 'orrible little oik has swiped the bike. Happy head was definitely OFF and violent revenge was on. I trawled around West Swindon area but to no avail. Found some tyre tracks which might have been the C90 but the trail ran cold.If anyone lives in the area and has seen a blue P reg C90 being blatted around - let me know. I know its a long shot but heres hoping. Back in 1990 I had my AR80 swiped and that never returned either. The most annoying part is that the C90 was always covered and there is a 6' paneled fence around the garden. I wonder if my 900 Divvy was the intended target - not a pleasant thought. Shaun (calming down but still simmering!)

Thats not good and i bet pc plod was as helpfull as ever..... As you have guessed it will be being used by the local scroats over easter as a field bike... Hope you catch them, and they have a little accident when they fall off. Fingers between chain and sprocket should ensure that they don't swipe a bike again ;D

PC flatfoot took details (over phone) and it was the usual "don't expect too much" syndrome. Nobody actually knocked on my door though. At least I still have my 900! Now in the process of extreme fortification of the garden, storage and bike. Its a pain in the bottie but there you go! Trev, sorry to hear you had an uninvited visitor as well - what has happened to moral standards??? Shaun

Bet if you were speeding they'd have the resources to prosecute... ....and we've got people in prison for lying about speeding offences, maybe those cells could be put to better use.

Given that they can find some plonker who posted his speeding exploits on youtube. I don't doubt they'd have the resources find it soon enough if you'd passed a scamera van while flicking the V.
And they wonder why we get p'd off.
Hope you get it back in a decent state.
