Hey I picked up my Divvy on Sunday ;D (A 900, P reg, girlie's Red one ) Today I managed to get a "proper" ride on her and as a result I got some questions (no, I won't mention Tyres or Oil): 1. Have anyone fitted hand guards and if so what guards did you use? 2. Screens, is there one that gives better protection without too much negative side effects. 3. Fairing lowers, do they give better protection (from the wind/weather)? 4. Tank range, is 190 miles normal? 5. (And maybe the most important!) When is the next Divvy meet here in the South?? ;D Hopefully I will be able to meet up with you lot and put faces to names in the near future TIA Morgan

Hi Viking, and welcome .. Cant answer any of the questions, but she sounds a cracker of a bike. Mines a tatty old "K" reg 600. But she goes forward, backward, stop and start
Keep it upright
Andy (and contrary to what you might here, not all scousers are robbers!!!)

IMHO, having tried them all, the Skidmarx Superflip screen is the best @ £39.95 +P+P direct from Skidmarx. Only thing is......its not in their online catalogue any more, but it IS in their price list. I seem to recall someone saying that it is only available to order these days. I used to get nearly 200 miles from a tank - till I got used to the bike and gave it some more welly - then I got around 170-180. A little restraint and it would go back up to 190 ish HTH Roger

Cheers guys, Just returned from a call out (yep, the Divvy is now a rapid response vehicle). O M G !! So the most urgent quest now has to be: How have you upgraded the candle (or head lamp if you prefer)?

Hi Morgan, Not happy with the headlight eh? Join the Club lol. I've a Divvy 600 but improved things dramatically by fitting one of those Phillips 'Vision Plus' bulbs that give I think 50% higher output. It's still not great, but a worthwhile and cheap (tenner I think) mod. I know some others have fitted higher wattage bulbs that are supposed to be illegal but who's to know? I'd rather be illegal and safe than law abiding and riding almost blind at night... You've just missed a cracking group meet round the Postcombe area, the next is the Isle of Wight meet. See the 'runs and meets' section for info or 'Personal Message' me for details as I'm (dis)organising this one. Not sure if fairing lowers offer improved wind protection but they certainly keep the bike better protected from the elements and in my opinion improve the looks too. If wind is a big problem avoid beans or curry I've some lowers to fit to my 600 when I get round to spraying them to match. Welcome to the Divvy Club. Ady

Re the headlight, I found the same on my 600 the first time I rode it in the dark. Nearly went off the road a couple of times. I got the Halfords '50% brighter' bulbs at 14 quid a pair. Being tight I sold one to a mate for £7 I was a bit sceptical about whether it would be any better but it really is an improvement. I think that, as well as being a bit brighter, they focus better so what light you've got goes in the right places. Well worth the seven quid. Cookie
