Yes, I have the same problem. Always have had on this site. I've followed the advice to the letter, several times! But have never been able to post images on here. Or indeed an avatar. I've even had private tuition from Judi!!! But we wo'nt go into that!! In case Pete is reading!!

OK - You've confused me now. Nice Avatar you have there Yeah - but thats one that you can select in your Personal Profile page. I just selected it from the drop down menu thingy. I meant I have not been able to post my own avatar on here. Entiendo?

Ahh! Got ya! ;-)
Unless you're totally fed up trying, have a play in the test area. Like any pics you want to show, any external avatar also has to be hosted somewhere. You have two problems with essentially the one cause, by the sound of it: Hosting the image > displaying the image on these boards. Good luck - I used the advice given here & sussed it - but not the first time I tried, I admit :-( (I am a member of other boards similar in format to this one - but I'd never seen fit to post pics there so I was a newbie at this too! Since learning how to do it, I've posted elsewhere too, so it's been a worthwhile 'shove' for me to have to learn.)

Yeah, I will Martin. I usually go on the Test area and give it a go. I have images saved on Photobucket and on Picasa2. It's the getting them attached to a post that's the problem! But I'll persevere! When i eventually suceed I'll probably forget what I did that was different!

Jim, I had this problem initially. On the photobucket site (or other host), Right click on the link under your piccy you want to post, select copy, then when back on divvy site reply post select the insert image button above (fourth from left bottom row) and you will see something like (img) (img) open in your reply. Click your text marker between the (img) (img) and right click and select paste. I found that if you didn't right click it didn't copy for some reason Hope that made sense. Good luck

i can post the links on here now but the pictures are bad ............. I saw your test pic this morning, before you deleted it. It was fine - but a bit big! When I load my photos onto www.photobucket.com I choose to load at 'message board' size (640 x 480). This gives a pic this size: ............... if your pic had hung around, I was going to ask which one was Pebbles
