Hi There
Were the addresses on your PC or in a web mail package ?
I can't see why changing from dial up would lose your address book from outlook express.
If it was lost from outlook express do a seach in windows for "address book", this will find a shortcut, right click and properties to get the target location, mine was here: -
"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\wab.exe"
Once you have found the location, open Outlook Express, click file, then import, then address book, then select the location. This should re-import it.
If your address were stored on a webmail server you may be outta luck.

I have a tiscali account on B-band, but the emails on my original address carried on fine and would come into Outlook, Opera, etc if I could be bothered to set them up. Instead, I go to www.tiscali.co.uk and click email, then log in with my old email as username and the password I used for dialup.

Oh your misplaced fate, young Jools... But yeah - should all be there in your webmail account, mr (s?) thicklotto.even though you're on broadband, you should still have your tiscali mail account from before - can't see why that would need to change, so just sign in and all the stuff'll be there.

I hate outlook. Both Pete and i were having a few problems with our outlook accounts both on my pc and his laptop. After nagging him to do something about it i decided enough was enough and deleted my email accounts out of it...... I deleted the lot with the sole intention of starting again. Well it didnt work and i lost years worth of addresses that i had stored in my address book that i had forgot about. I dont have a back up address book and i even had to ask my eldest daughter for her address the other day. Best of it was, Pete eventually got it sorted - well his account anyway and mines completely ruined.
