I'm the first to admit this is not Academy Award stuff (and don't ask why it's so small! I'll have to check my recording parameters).
However, it's the video of my ride from Perth, Western Australia, via Toodyay Road, to Toodyay, a small agricultural town about 85 km north-east of the capital, on the Avon River. Popular destination for motorbike day trips.
NOTE: Unfortunately, some electrical "crackles" on the audio track -- they come and go -- mainly at the start.
This is an hour ride compressed into 6 and-a-half minutes, so don't expect great continuity.
I just thought some of you who don't what it's like around here may like a quick squiz (squiz = look, same as "butcher's" or "Captain Cook").

Nice one Bruce. I know it was edited but I didn't see you come up behind any traffic even once - you'd never find that here in blighty. Assume the camera was mounted on your helmet? Bit disappointed not to see any kangaroos though Paul

Traffic was pretty light -- but it's very rare to have to pass someone doing that trip. Maybe once every two or three trips. Yes, the camera is velcroed to the side of my helmet. There were a few dead skippies on the side of the road, which increases the pucker factor. It's pretty dry around here at present and the roos are on the move, looking for food. Generally it's pretty safe during the day, as they rest and sleep -- but at present they're everywhere. You heard me!! I hadn't realised the mike was so sensitive (it's inside the tank bag). That was me, going downhill, with a right-hand turn, on soft, wet gravel, explaining to Di through the intercom why I was going so gingerly. Glad you enjoyed it.
