Ive seen a fairing on ebay ( cant seem to hyperlink the page from ebay ...its a blue one, the seller is located in croydon bid starts at £5 ) anyway, its got a few scuff marks as can be seen in the piccy. What i want to know is, whats the max i should bid, and can it be resprayed straightforwardly? ta mark...

I paid £42 for mine which also included the side panels and back piece, however my max for the main fairing would have been £50. They can be re-sprayed very easily but take it to a car panel sprayer as they charge about a third of the cost compared to bike sprayers. The bits I bought were green, but my Divvy 600 is red, candy red they call it. The original paint would cost a fortune so the sprayer I'm taking mine to is going to match a car colour to my original.
Hope this helps you out!?

That looks save-able.... easily prepped and sprayed, but like Jools said, don't go to a bike painting geezer cos they charge the earth. I can do it in matt black for ya....... ;D
