went out today and did 160miles, went to Hawes cafe and then into the Yorkshire dales to some of the places that Nocturnal sassy (sassy on this site) showed me late last year, cracking sunny and warm day, awsome ;D
where did others end up at?

Matlock Bath this morning. Really good run but surprisingly quiet.
Road were filthy with tractor mud.
Maybe Stoke egg run tomorrow.

Did two observed rides this morning, lunch at the Super Sausage and led a social run in the afternoon for 36 bikes.
Otherwise not a lot !!

I have spent this afternoon stareing at Julies bedroom ceilling,
No, nowt durty ,Me and my kid brother have just been putting up 8 x 4 sheet`s of plaster board , on a new drop`ed ceilling , To cover over a 4'' droop in the old one . The New ceilling hight is now 10' ,rather than 10'6''
and now me back`s giving me some jip,
on with the ice pack

managed to get to devils bridge, then on to Hartside cafe, then to Carlisle Honda dealership, to look at the nice new shiney bikes, lots of bikes about today and it was like a summers day ;D

Hi All I went for ride with some new guy,s from another web site meet at the Tickle Trout 10.00 Oh dear all on sports bike except for three new lad,s me being one of them other guy,s on naked Duke and 1200 bandit. Of we went doing 100 miles an hour within 2 minutes think,s to myself what am I doing here, I kept up with them up to settle had a brew then of again this time I stayed at the back we were of up to Hawes for lunch and meet some other riders of they went I could not even see them kept to my riding speed, I caught the guy on the duke who had slowed right down round a couple of bend,s the lad on the bandit missed a bend went into the fence, smashed the front end up but did not hurt himself at all, just his pride! he said he was doing about 90 when he came off, only had the bike 5 day,s not ridden for a few years and never ridden more than 5o miles in one ride. We were able to start the bike and he could ride it home so me and the other lad came back with him the others went on to Hawes. I t would have been a good ride out but for the speed they went at I finished up at Rivvy very busy there, home safe and sound. MORAL DON'T RIDE AT OTHER PEOPLES SPEED RIDE AT YOUR OWN.  |
