Supposing you were best man for someone this weekend.... and supposing he got forwarded a mail in which you said of his special day:
I'm best man at a wedding. Tragic waste of a weekend. :-(
I hope he works out I didn't mean it to be taken seriously. (I really didn't.)

Any friend of yours must have a good sence of humour and if they are mad enough to invite you to be best man then they must be fairly screwed in the head. I'm sure you'll be OK. What are the bridesmaids like?  |

LOL, I've been a 'best man' three times. Two of the couples are still communicating, albeit one of them via solicitors...... Hope you've a suitable speech prepared Mark. Dont know about tragic waste of a weekend, more like 'Marriage- tragic waste of a relationship' (1) ;D Ady  (1) Did that sound bitter lol. I've just written out another maintenance cheque....... |
