Had one damnawful day at work -- if it could have gone wrong, it did -- both Sod and Murphy were working overtime, until by the end of the day ...  Anyhoooo -- Dearly beloved took me, my two daughters, son-in-law, granddaughter (18 mths), brother and sister-in-law and my two oldest friends (35 years this year!  ) to dinner at a lovely local Thai restaurant. Some first-rate tucker, a couple of bottles of wine, good company -- and now ready to roll into the cot. You know -- life's not so bad after all -- and work is just ... work!  Bruce |

Looks like Jools missed out on the Birthday wishes this time. She is the clubs official happy birthdayer or so it seems lately. Anyway Happy Birthday. I got my shiny red divvy for my birthday last November. Well that was what my missus told me at the time. She said because I bought myself the Divvy I wasn't entitled to any presents for my birthday or Xmas. I wasn't complaining though as I was lucky enough to get the fastest colour divvy out there - a red one !

Thanx peoples for the wishes. The hangover is ... was ... bearable -- except I had forgotten I had a dentist's appointment at 8.30 this morning. Now, having a slight hangover and queasy tummy is most definitely NOT helped by having your mouth wide open while the dentist and the dental assistant both try to get in there at the same time ... I didn't disgrace myself, but it was a close-run thing once or twice.  |
