Sometimes stop off here myself.... have even been known just to go down for breakfast on a Sunday!!! Most nights there's something going on.... seems even the boy racers who add weird looking plastic bits to the bodywork and "boogie boxes" on their cars now hang out here some nights. Haven't they got their own place to hang out? Bikers doing wheelies and endo's all over the place on the road outside and the police don't seem to bat an eyelid!!! Have had a few good evenings here over the years. Keep an eye on their website for special events/meets.... just about every type of bike you can imagine can often be found parked up there. www.ace-cafe-london.com/Hmmmm wonder if they'll give me a free cuppa for giving them a plug on here?

I find the Ace a bit of a rip off-prices are high, food is rubbish{I'm a chef]. On the whole the runs are great[no not from eating their grub], so I just go there from time to time as I live local. The owner is raking it in, bless him

I don't regard their food prices a rip-off, although I'd agree with that as regards most of their merchandise. Personally I don't have any issue with their food, but then again I'm no chef. Neverthelsss, I eat well there and I think it's fair to say that many of my mates do too. Also, Mark Wilsmore, the proprietor, may well be raking it in (surely?) with the alternating bike and car event focusses packing each month's calendar, but he's also does his fair bit for numerous charities, many of them bike-related. Off to the Ace tomorrow for the Rat Bike and Rat Rod Review; looking forward to it.

Hmm, yeah point taken. Never took that into account, I guess.
We had a bril day at the Ace today, despite the iffy drizzle throughout most of the day.
