I rode back on Mon am from up t'north down t'south.
Lidl special Jacket and Trousers.
From 7.30am when I stepped out of the house, it was like being under a power shower all the way down the A1.....horrible biking conditions.
No leaks, mildly moist (fnarr!) underneath, but amazing all the same. Especially as the items in my outside pockets were bone dry!!!!!
I wouldn't have even considered doing the run in my previous HG stuff without an oversuit.
Gobsmacking good value.
Velcro stitching around the cuffs is a bit poor tho'. Can't expect miracles.

I'm a bit late with this one but I've got the same breeks. My main problem with these is not the waterproofmanship, but that I found them to be extremely warm - reaching into not very comfortableness, and so much so that I removed the 'innards'. Can't remember when, but I found them in a 'hidden' drawer the other day. I bought them last Oct/Nov, so I actually, even probably had the 'innards' in for just a week or so. So I've been driving about since then with just the waterproof outer skin of the breeks. Even at that I find them to be an extremely valuable removal of cash from my wallet.

The Stafford Lidl (near Halfords) had some last weekend. I dont know what sizes.
I used their jacket for nearly 3 years and prefer it to pretty much anything else. Cheap troose however while waterproof do tend to get chilled by water collected by the outer shell. Initially that feels like a leak then its just plain ff freezing cold.

I rang Lidl head office and they told me some stores will have old stock for sale however they have no planned promotion for bike gear coming up.

I rode from the Midlands to the channel tunnel last July in a lidl waterproof oversuit and stayed dry in about 100 miles of continuous rain.
