Hi, I didn't fancy relays, so I bought a ciggy lighter socket from Maplins and a blade fuse holder. It's permanently wired to the battery. Just knick a spare 10amp fuse from your Divvys fuse box and plug it in when you want to make the socket live, and unplug it to cut power of completely. The fuse holder is in effect a crude switch. For bonus points I found that the lid from an old WD-40 can slots on the ciggy lighter perfectly and helps keep the dirt out (shown in photo).

There are so many ciggy lighter threads can't we have them put into the tech info section.
Presume they don't come with instructions?
