Been looking at these for past 5 or 6 months.
Idea is great, I just feel that bit expensive at the moment, but look good, and nice and bright...
Hoping that as LED's get more common, they come down in price, then I'll get one...

I have one on my divvy 600s '95. The leds are some superflux types and damn bright. very well made as well fitted like a dream. even made to fit the lugs inside. Not cheap though.

These look quite good...but lose the 'Eye of Sauron' effect of the originals.
There again, having suffered brake/tail light demise at crucial moments (once near London and once out with the G*ldW*ng owners club), it might be a practical solution.

good idea. but £55 . not just yet. thinking of running one of those led car accesory brake lights under the edge of my wingrack.

If your looking for 'unblowable' L.E.D bulbs then check these out as a lower cost alternative,
www.matstrad.com/tail_lights.php
they simply replace your original bulbs and you can maintain the all important 'Eye of Sauron' look.
A few mates use them and they seem to work O.K.

Has anyone on here tried either of these products, I thought maybe trying the bulbs out first until the price of the light unit comes down a bit.
I did read that LED units have reduced rear end accidents by quite a bit and as Ive been involved in one of them I would fit anything that might possibly reduce it happening again.

Ordered some. Will try one on my sons bike (GSX600F) first as I just had to replace his rear bulb so it should be a fair comparison.
