From: yamfan (Original Message) Sent: 21/08/2005 17:21 Hi everyone i am new to the site. Can anyone reccomend an after market exhaust for a 1997 600 diversion, is or was there a small bellypan available or can one of another yamaha be modified to fit? Look forward to replys Colin From: backnluvvinit Sent: 14/03/2006 16:23 bsm exhausts do a nice system for both divvys and powerbronze and skidmarx both do bellypans From: 50dave0 Sent: 28/08/2006 18:20 hi l,ve got nexus 4-1 on my 600n 97 model hope this helps .....dave..... From: Tour_De_Mark Sent: 28/08/2006 20:37 I fitted a nexuss. £315. Downside is that it ruins the engine sound and makes fitting a wing rack a pain. Upside is price, weight and everlastingness. Use lots of heat on the exhaust nuts or a world of pain awaits you. You *could* look at getting a local engineering firm to weld your existing system back together which could be cheap, excellent solution.

Or in my case...Jama original system from: www.exactrep.co.ukThat's where I got mine from. Also, Busters do cheaper parts!

Yup, definitely lucky. Took me best part of 4 hours to remove one stubborn nut on my 900 a couple of weeks ago. Ended up having to cut through one of the downpipes I was replacing and then grind through the collar to make enough space to get a pair of molegrips to the stubborn nut.

I have the predator stainless fitted to a 95 divvy 600s. Very good fit and access to oil drain bolt is much better than with a nexxus. Its stainless right through from front to rear the nexxus was a plated silencer. The sound is great. Got mine from LM spares. about £350 as I recall. Regards, Lee H
