Having a minor issue checking the oil level on my divvie 600 - the entire sight glass is clouded up and seems to remain so regardless of temperature (same after long ride, short ride or going nowhere fast on the drive). Had the oil light come on a few times when the bike has been idling on the sidestand, suspect that could just be due to the angles as it's normally on uneven ground to boot but as you can see I've been unable to check the oil level through the glass! Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated

best thing to do would be to totally drain the oil and replace the filter, fill up to the specified manufacturers ammount, then dip the oil with a slick till it touches a solid bottom (on centre stand and level ground) then mark on the stick where the oil is and keep it somewhere safe, that way you will have a good idea where it is in future

I never understand the point of sight glasses, dipsticks just work better, especially on a bike with a C-stand.
