Hey people,
i'm looking to buy a bunch of givi hard luggage for my divi600 with nexus pipe.
Could anyone whose had this kind of a set up tell me whether there is any problems with exhaust clearence and also ill be carrying my mate pillion touring in europe whose about 6'3" is there any problem withpillion leg room?

First question is going to be do you already have a wingrack/hard luggage mounts? If you don't, the second question is going to be the age of the bike? If your D6 is a 96 or newer you shouldn't have problems getting a wingrack/hard luggage mount; as these kits are in production. If it's a 95 or older, you can only get a top box kit from Givi, some other lesser known brands may have other options. If you do want a full three box setup for a pre 96 D600, your best bet is to trawl eBay and other similar sites for a second hand Wingrack. As far as I'm aware, there's no clearance issues with the panniers and the exhaust, but if you check out some of the run photos I'm sure you'll see a number of bikes with this type of set up. As for pillion leg room, the D6 is relatively spacious, but at 6'3" he may be a little uncomfortable. Both my wife and I are 5'9" - 5'10" so difficult to say. However you may wish to consider a taller screen; if he doesn't want the wind constantly buffeting round his head  I hope this helps T. |

I glad to hear you had no problems finding a kit; they were non existent while I was looking. If you check out the main Givi site (www.givi.co.uk) they only list the monorack for the pre '96 Divi; which is what I was basing my info on.
Beebs, Thanks for the info on the exhaust mod, looks ideal. I've yet to fit my wingrack, so I didn't realise the boxes would end up too close to the exhaust.

Guess there may be slight differences across the board. My Divvi ('97) has a Nexus and wing rack fitted. The 50 litre box fits comfortably on any of the stations.
