Sometimes my Diversion sings to me...

When I arrive home from work I park my Divvy outside the garage, go and get out of my gear and then put the bike in the garage. Sometimes, when I sit on the bike to wheel it in, it emits an electronic whine/whistle which lasts a few seconds.

Is this some kind of alarm? If so, is it a factory-fitted one or is it likely to be some kind of "aftermarket" product?
