Hello all,
I'm thoroughly enjoying my new old Diversion 600 but one thing (apart from the vibration!) really bugs me and that is the mirrors. The best I can do with them is angle them so that I could see something as it over/undertook me. Are there extenders or replacement mirrors which would be more useful or should I remove them and rely on actually looking over my shoulder more often?
TIA, Pete

When I had a D600, I had some steel bar end weights made. They each have a 10mm hole drilled across which takes a cut off mirror stem. A grub screw on the end of the weight secures the mirror. I got less turbulence in side winds and could see better behind. Only issue was finding mirrors with enough of a wide angle view.

Greetings a number of owners (mainly 900s admittedly) have fitted R6/Fazer mirrors to the fairing however this does involve some Drilling

How does the vibration on the 600, affect faring-mounted mirrors? Any expirence whit it?

While the D6 can be bad for vibration around the 3000 rpm mark, it shouldn't be bad enough to make the mirrors unusable.
If the vibration's really bad, it could be an indication that the carbs need balanced.
If that doesn't work, a change of oil or checking the valve shims would be worthwhile.
Hope that helps
