Hi, I'm trying to get my crash damaged old Divvie back on the road (after 2 years mouldering in the garage ) only to discover the 2nd hand forks I got were late model ones with 41mm front fork tubes rather than the 38mm ones on my '92 model. Does anyone know if I can get a new model top yoke and just switch the whole front end? I'm not sure if the headstock tube or anything else changed. Cheers.

Whack the throttle as you start to lean over and wobbles will soon scrub off those square edges Dave, I'd bet the later top and bottom fork yokes and head bearings would fit the older frame. Got to be worth a punt on fleabay.

Thanks all. Project delayed due to a broken spanner hand, but if I go ahead with trying it, I'll post the results here.
There's still a tread in the middle, fiasco: there's surely another 2000 miles on those! ;~)
