Any tips, do's or don'ts on adjusting the shocker for the carrying of a passenger.

I tend to go up 1 click from luggage and 2 for pillion (3 for both), but it depends on how you like it. Best way is to try it and see. If suspension bottoms out, go up some more. If it is too hard, go down some.
