Brake caliper.

Has anyone got a front left brake caliper for xj900s 1995,or advice on how to split the caliper holder from the caliper itself ,I think the sliding pin has corroded to the caliper carrier many thanks Calum

Try giving it a soak overnight in Coca Cola. Acts as a very mild acid. Hopefully it will allow you to strip and refurbish it then.

Good advice from padster.

If you really need it, I've a pair refurbed with new seals & new pads, free bleed nipples but painted gloss black so you'd need 'em both as a pair really. That's your backup if you're pushed - but I'd need financially induced to part with 'em!
