From the anxiety-inducing observation that I'd melted my satnav power lead, to the soothing knowledge that Bobh was coming to save the day, a thoroughly enjoyable jolly around some lovely roads in the rather toasty weather. Thanks for coming along to play, folks. Special thanks to Bobh for taking over the lead in the absence of my planned route! A lovely weekend of snooker evenings, riding, & even a nice long stroll for a quick half yesterday daytime with young Brian, made for a great extended weekend. Brian has just set off North, on his minor-roads route back home. Though I'm pretty sure he turned left out of our road instead of right so he might still be touring Groovy Grove for all I know . Thanks again chaps, 'twas mucho fun .

Thanks to everyone for a great weekend. Excellent roads, weather and company. Like the man says a weekend of snooker and biking. Special thanks go to Martin for your hospitality, I really enjoyed sharing the time with Andy, Dave and yourself. Thanks also to Bob for playing a blinder - route-master.
And I did turn left. Imediately regretted it - two lots of 3 way temp traffic lights. Martin had mentioned them, but I didn't want to upset Mrs Garmin as I had plotted the route back a week earlier. I think next time I will keep going west into Wales, then turn right (like Dave did). Anyway got home safe & sound, so all in all a fabulous weekend. Roll on the next one.
