Hi guys
I got back from south London to Lancaster yesterday on my 1995 divvy 900 with the standard smooth seat . I was in pain when I got home big time . what do you guys recommend to make journeys like that bearable in the bum department . I really dont want to sell my divvy as its the most reliable bike Ive ever had even at 27 years old with 51000 miles .
cheers ..
Dave ..

For years I used an "Airhawk" inflatable pad. www.airhawk.netQuite pricey but the most effective solution for me.

That’s a long run, made worse if on the monotony of motorways where you’re stuck in the same position for miles.
TBH I make regular stops (& usually look for non-motorway routes). Nearly all the bikes I’ve had are uncomfortable on long straight rides. The Divvies were amongst the most comfortable.

Looks to be very similar the Airhawk (without the cover) but at a fraction of the price.
I found it took a bit of trial and error to get the inflation right - more blown up was softer and fine for motorways but too "disconnected" from the bike for spirited riding. Let some air out to restore the connection.

Cool thanks. It was the suggestion of air hawk that led me to finding that on a search. Thanks again.
