Hi all As per title, has anybody had their D9 fail the MOT on headlight aim. My recently reassembled one has failed on this today as the aim is way too high. The adjuster is kaput and won`t alter the aim. If anybody has been in the same situation, is there a way round it without fitting another headlight?
TIA

Strangely, not an issue I've heard of before.
How is it kaput? If the shaft when turned has bust from the cog you might be able to bodge-epoxy it? Or has it slipped out of place & just needs nudging back into place?
I reckon keeping this headlight is going to involve some creative bodging, one way or the other.

It turned out to be wear on the `phillips` type end of the shaft that you turn to adjust it. I`ve taken it of and done it with a long reach screwdriver from behind.[/font]Now I just need to sort a stiff throttle action. Does anybody have a link to a diagram for the correct routing of the cables as that appears to be the issue.
