How long have you got?
No, seriously, the things that do go wrong are generally fixable fairly easily by a competent home mechanic. I've had a couple, and the main problems I can remember having were brake calipers seizing, the lower pivot bolt for the rear shock corroding in place so it had to be sawn off, wear of the brushes in the starter motor, and the upper bearing for the clutch release spindle wearing excessively, leading to poor clutch action and degradation of the seal so water could get in, thus making the problem worse. I also had a battery fail on me in the middle of nowhere in Ireland, but that's not really a Divvy-specific problem!
I never had any other electrical problems, but there's plenty of info on here about things related to corrosion in connecting blocks etc.
The original exhausts corrode, so if you can find one with an aftermarket stainless exhaust, so much the better. If the downpipes haven't been removed for a while, the nuts at the cylinder head may well be seized so the studs are likely to shear off when you try to remove them. Again, that's something to watch on any older bike.
All-in-all, a good choice for what you're looking for.
