The A5 between Pentrefoelas and Cerrigydrudion has become a dangerous road to ride along with the A543 and the B4501, otherwise known as the EVO Triangle in North Wales.
All 3 roads are now splattered with average speed cameras.
So instead of watching the road ahead, road users are now having to stare at their speedometer to ensure they don't wander over the 60mph limit, making it a very very dangerous area to ride in.
So be careful out there.
You have been warned. 😉😉

Forgot to mention.
As well as watching the speedo they also have to make phone calls, send text messages, check there social media and do a bit of on line gambling. But as far as the police are concerned that doesn't matter, as all accidents are due to speed.

The south of the country is similarly experiencing some questionable logic with regard to speed limits; www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-57615167(Bit like just about every A road in Oxfordshire, to be fair )

There is a stretch of the A483 that drops from 70mph to 50mph as it passes Wrexham. It's also covered with average speed cameras. The signs say its to improve air quality.
Now.... On the bike. At 70mph I'm in top gear doing 4000rpm. At 50mph I'm in 4th gear doing 4000rpm. Same rpm but I'm in that section of road for a longer period so causing more pollution and making the air quality worse.
In the car. I have no option. As I slow down it automatically changes down the gears.
