Where was this? I might venture out tomorrow if the rain holds off, but won’t quite match that scenery.
Edit: I spy Welsh/English sign 😉.

Yep m8 retirement is great and after getting my Gilera Nexus sorted, including stopping to take a pic of it with a four wheeled Italian Stallion(I dont desire the Fezza just its monetary worth) went to the Rev Up Cafe on it a couple of Fridays ago. Also took advantage of the Walton On The Naze chippy. There was a couple with a humungus Trike as the rider was wheelchair bound, great he can still enjoy wind in the hair. Next Day out of the Blue a friend rang saying sorry its short notice but are you game to go to the Ace Cafe, albeit whilst he is doing up a BSA Thunderbolt as well as a Goldwing, and runs a quacker 30? with a rubber band drive, it was for an annual Granada Club Bash. A couple from the Clacton Club joined the party-he has just bought a Deuville but I didnt profer 'his Lordhip HRH's opinion on those Hondas. Mates Grandad is a later Scorpio Estate and I was taken back in time with the MK1s at The Ace Cafe, having owned a GXL 3.0 Litre in the 80s. Plenty bikes arrived for me the best was a lovely 500 Triton 500 with a pre unit twin in a wide Mc Candless Featherbed frame. Also another wheelchair bound guy in a Piaggio X9 powered concoction he(Adam Chopper Barker)calls the bug used, having given up cars at 40. That said to be honest apart from taking my Gilera for MOT and some work Ferry Motors insisted it needed, like a starter motor when it wouldnt initially restart, and a battery I bought after it would only stay charged a few days, it wasnt really so much a case of my losing my 2 wheel mojo, as I was begining to think was maybe the case, yes I sold my Ape Mille and again got had over by same dealership-however I wont go into all that, as it didnt stop me getting another crotch rocket ,a project, in the form of a 96 Kawasaki ZZR1100 , having decided after its last bike duty, picking up the Gilera 500 Maxi Scooter from Kent, and the convenient MOT extension which also my Cagiva Raptor got that enabled a new custodian in Invernes without Ferry welcoming its favourite soft touch, for that thumper. The Kangooroo failed the test and another take on emporium at the bottom of this road reckoned 500 squid to get another ticket,as to a great many issues, and finally a guy in the next Village brought his mechanic mate another Gavin to look and an offer £50 less than I had paid for it in 2017, was sold for spares and repairs, which his mate clearly did as I saw it soon after Man with Van advertised, good glad he could continue its useful life, and like my last Mondeo initially the Focus I now run,was sans towbar to try deter the wanten auction site whims, but hey I then hired a van to pick the Ninja up. OH well what the Hell... Maybe we can get back to some of this soon
