Am I right in thinking that Motad exhausts are no longer available? Did I hear the company had folded and if so,any suggestions for replacement silencers for a 600 s.I don,t want anything louder than the stock exhaust.....anyone?

MOTAD-VENOM did cease trading back in 2017 due to Triumph going elsewhere for there exhaust systems.
Nigel Worthington of Direct Distribution bought MOTAD-VENOM just after they ceased trading. Whether he still owns it and they are still trading I don't know.
I did a quick search in google and got these results. Ebay From Italy, Just twin silencers. link
Or there's Delkevic. link
Or there's Black Widow. link
Other than that there's not a a great deal out there with it being so old (the bike not the owner). It's just a case of trawling the internet and see what's out there. You maybe lucky and find someone who still has an old 4 into 1 Motad sitting in there stock room.

Had a good look on ebay.I,m frankly getting a bit fed up with ebay.Still waiting for a rear hugger I ordered on April 5th!,, But that not why you called....Wemoto have the Mavic ones from Italy and unless I can get a really nice s/h Motad pair, then I,ll take a punt on the Mavic. Anyone got any experience of these silencers? I,d be ok with NOS Yamaha silencers,if anyone knows of any.I got a 600S with just 11,000 on it but no one has cared for ir and the silencers are rotting from the inside.

I like the look of either the Black Widow range or the Blue Flame range. I don't know how they would look/sound on a D6.

I bought a full delkevic 4-1 system and while it has lasted well it blocks the oil drain bolt. The Black Widow is cheaper and lets you access the bits you need to.

I found the people who do Black Widow (formerly Sandy Bike Spares) to be very helpful, though that's going back a decade or so. They were just off the A1 at Sandy, but maybe a dozen years ago moved to a little industrial estate miles from anywhere, near Bedford.
As far as eBay is concerned, I've found you need to be very careful about where the seller is actually located. Quite a few far-eastern sellers claim to be based in the UK, but aren't, so delivery can take ages. Also customer service is likely to be compromised, as I recently found out when I bought a duff webcam. You can usually check by delving into the seller's details. Also it's useful to look at what else they are selling - if it's miscellaneous junk and they clearly aren't a bike specialist, don't expect any after-sales help.
I'm also a bit teed off with eBay now they've changed the payment arrangements and have insisted on bank details if you're a seller - so now they can help themselves to whatever they think is their rightful commission without it going through Paypal first. They claim that sellers are no worse off, but I'm not convinced.
