My winter prep so far has been moving Trixie back into the house & moving the Guzzi back out into the shed this morning. ( On the basis that the Guzzi is the better winter steed, if such opportunities arise!)
I’m guessing one or two of you have more energetic plans, but believe me I’m knackered manuevering these two beasts through doors they ain’t supposed to fit through 😬.

I wish I could get ours into the shed, but it's down two flights of steep steps and the garden at the bottom is a bog this time of year. I just apply ACF50 and attach a trickle charger. Hopefully we get some decent winter days to get them out, although I can't take Jools' bike out because it's just too low for me to ride.

Just as well we can't go anywhere for at least 6 weeks eh.
Luckily I only have one nut and bolt to replace on the bike for MOT. I dropped it and it's bounced into the Bermuda triangle that seems to have appeared in my garage, I heard it hit the floor and that was the last I saw or heard of it.

Pull it down to the bare frame & swing arm and get it zinc metal sprayed. Then wet-n-dry it smooth, etch prime and paint or powder coat. YKIMS. While at it, you can sort out the wiring issues, the rear linkage and swing bushes. When it's done, you'll be able to justify a Wilbers for the rear shock.

A long time ago before the internet, I had a Honda C90 that I used for work, I changed the tyre, put all the bits on the ground, but when fitting the wheel, I couldn’t find the nut, I looked everywhere, and eventually had to go to a bike shop by bus, and order a new nut, wait the week, and fitted it, A couple of years later digging the garden in a completely different area, and found the nut, the dog had stole it and buried it.
