dead heat?, old one is faster and lighter - other is newer and has a monoshock. any thoughts?

don't think the newer one has self cancelling indicators but i could be wrong.

Thing is, they’re very different so it’s a bit like comparing chalk and cheese.
Twin shocks are fine by me - much easier to maintain & replace when required. But tyre choices are more limited on the older 900. It’s narrower bars need a bit more input compared to the Divvy, & the seating position is a bit more forward, so a bit less comfortable at lower speeds. It’s much closer in “feel” to it’s contemporary FJ1200, actually feels vey solid on the road. The Divvy is a little more relaxed.
There’s an argument for having one of each 😀.

There’s an argument for having one of each 😀. haha, don't think the wife would understand about having two apparently similar motorcycles, to her anyway. i think the divvy has a bigger, that is wider, back tyre which probably helps. good point about the narrower bars.
