Hello everybody As I`ve not been on the site in quite a while, I did sit and type a much more polite and detailed post, but then my computer had a spaz and dumped the page losing the whole sodding lot. I`m too mad and bone idle to type it all again so I`ll get straight to my question. Does any body know of any straight swops from any other bike for ....... Rear brake calipers and front master cylinders. The ham fisted gibbon that had the bike before me has stripped both threads in the rear caliper and tried to cut slots in the master cylinder cap screws, mullering the cap in the process. Also are there any other bikes that use the same clips to hold the brake hoses to the sliders, the small chrome ones and not the guides that fit under the fork brace. I have put a post in the wanted section just in case. By the way, it`s nice to see the forum is still active and not moved exclusively to Facef**k like so many others have.

Also for rear caliper I am pretty sure my bt1100 bulldog is the same as the D9.

Thank you both, that`s given me a few more avenues to examine. The front master you suggested Martin, I`m not keen on the look so I`ll persevere with the search for OE and even if I can only find a knackered one, if it`s got a good cap, it`ll do!

All sorted now. After a bit of digging , it turns out that a gen 1 vmax rear caliper is the same as well. For some reason D9 rear calipers seem to get snapped up quickly at pretty high prices. Is there something I`m missing as to why the rear brake seems to get knackered on so many D9`s?
