Hi everyone! Could anyone help me out with info on timing marks and/or a screen shot of the bit in the book about the top end and the timing marks? My manual is somewhere, but not seen it since the move, anyway having a bit of free time I though I would play having got the old girl kinda running again. Checking valve clearances and being impatient/bored waiting for the shim tool to turn up I messed with the cam chain tensioner, sussed out how it worked, put it back to re-tension the chain so I could mark it up before messing it all up and.... well Carefully turning by hand I heard a some clicks, and think I saw the front cam sprocket slipping 3 maybe 4 teeth before the chain took up the slack. Would like to be able to check it out before I mess it up any more. Currently with the crank marker at #1 tdc the rear cam sprocket the square pattern is at a slight angle, compared to the front cam sprocket which is currently horizontal by about enough that would be altered by a couple of teeth difference. Cheers! w?

On the each cam carrier next to the sprockets there are two holes, large threaded one for the cover screw, and a small one, at tdc #1 through the small hole you need to be able to see a small dimple in the cam shaft, use a mirror to view it.
