I was hoping to join you again this year, after two superb JRs. It depends on several factors, luckily for me health not being one of them.
I was going to look for accommodation for fri 24th- sun 26th, but if the run is on fri 24th & sat 25th i better book for thursday 23rd.
Can you please arrange for the excellent weather we enjoyed (for most of the jr17 & 18) to join us again.
It'll be just the one, MPG depends on whether i ride like a two hat, again. but i should manage 150 to a tank.

Apologies but I'm afraid that I'm going to have to bail on this one  I've got to have an operation shortly that will prevent the riding of any bikes for a few months. Will try to sort out a visit north later in the year to keep Debs happy. Will catch up with you then Adrian. |

Never managed my recce last week (or this weekend!!)
This due to helping son change a mx5 engine (still a work in progress!!!)
Appears i am on strike wed/thurs so plan to head north after picket duty.

Too good to be true, forgot an important medical apointment the Friday and a follow up the next week, as its too far to go Saturday, and a full run Sunday, then home,not adjoined with my hopes to go over the Bridge to Sky, feeling embarrised about another blowout, but who knows maybe I can aim to do HRHs Tiddler run and get to remeet some Forum members.

Sorry to hear you can't make it :-(
I did a recce for the Sunday run yesterday, I think I may have found my new favorite road !
I don't think I have ever been on it before, the scenery is stunning (if we get the weather....)
I haven't had a chance to recce the Saturday route, I have driven it many time , although this was some time ago lol.
It could be an interesting weekend !
I also have a request, which I hopefully won't need to take up.
Ruth's dad is elderly and was admitted to hospital this week, he is responding well to treatment for a chest infection and I fully expect to be able to lead the weekend.
However, in the unlikely event that he goes downhill, can a have a volunteer to stand in for me?
I know its a big ask and I hope its not needed, but just in case.....
I'll happily share routes/stops etc.

From Perth was planning on headinf west on the A85 almost to Oban then hanging a right up into fort william ( stop for a bite ) Then carry on north to Loch Ness and then when you get to the Loch Ness tourist centre hang a left then a right and take the back roads to go around Inverness.
