I'm working on saving the world....I'm on a mission as an eco warrior.....I just have to figure out how to stop 2 billion Indians and Chinese farting and producing methane. At the moment a simple plug is the best method but selling the idea seems insurmountable. It might kill all of them because as we know the A#*se controls the body. When I figure it out I'm gunna be a billionaire ;D This will make me like Al Gore who uses enormous amounts of electricity in his US mansion but covers his a#*se by the justification of carbon trading......Bloody hypocrite.

Dunno, those opposed to his message will be feeding all sorts of carp to the press. Al Gore isn't so bad. He has to influence top people and they won't appreciate dealing with someone living/working a in a mud hut. And... he seems to be doing ok where the sandal wearing eco warriors have failed.

I think it is pretty much exactly like snot or at least that green algae we sometimes get on ponds during hot summers. But at 50% oil its good stuff. Here's the report... www.unh.edu/p2/biodiesel/article_alge.htmlI believe the open ponds had problems with wind blown "weed" species, but a UK company already has a clear plastic sealed tube system that grows algae at huge rates; especially when the water is enriched with CO2. Can't find the url right now. BP are also working on alcohol production directly from cellulose which is not normally not used when brewing sugars. They are using industrial vesrions of enzymes found in cow's stomachs to break the cellulose into more simple sugars the brewing yeasts can feed on. Every year grain farmers leave huge amounts of straw to simply rot back to CO2. This system would turn it into motor fuel and the left-over sludge & lignin could go back to the land as fertiliser. www.iogen.ca/

A 2 stroke turbodiesel should make around double the bhp per litre of a 4 stroke. They dont take air through the crankcase so use normal lubrication. Todays 4 strokes are making around 100bhp per litre (chipped) = 600cc making 60bhp or in 2 stroke form 120bhp. That would do for me. Add in around twice as far between fuel stops, much longer service intervals (Audis & VWs are now >20,000 miles between services), no valve shims to adjust, no carbs to balance, no spark plugs to change. Finally a 4 stroke 4 going at 9000 revs has the same firing rate as a 2 stroke 4 going at 4,500 revs which is around max speed for a diesel. The right type of diesel could be rather cool.

Couldn't agree more. Whether we like it or not nukes are the future.
Nukes can also make hydrogen as fuel without wasting energy when extracting the stuff from hydrocarbons like oil or gas. The new designs use helium to move heat fropm the core. As helium can't become radioactive and is non-corrosive the design is much simpler and there's way much less active waste.
Its a hydrogen bubble that blew up Chernobyl, but the design was unsafe and it was operated by idiots trying to see how far it could go before going pop - They found out.
Nukes 4 me
