Great day out with some old freinds on some of Derbyshires,Cheshires and good old Staffordshires roads.
Run round the Peaks (false advertising) but who cares enjoyed every mile. And Andy even found 1 road that I have never been on before, although it was only 50 foot long.
Huge thanks to Andy for the run and to Beebs for the back maker duty.
Nice surprise Uncle Fester meeting us at the lunch stop.
As most of the guys that I brought along don`t frequent the site I will say a big thankyou from them as I know they all enjoyed the day out.
It`s been a while since we have been on a run but hopfuley not so long before joining another.

Great day out (as long as you don't count the bit where I ended up sitting on my backside in the middle of a junction).
Thanks to Andy for the route and organisation and Beebs for back marking (and helping to pick me up).
It was good to meet up with friends old and new.
Like Paul and Loz, it has been a while since I was on a run but I hope to get to another soon.

I had chores to do this afternoon so could only attend for a short while but well worth it to catch up in the short time I was there.
Thanks to Andy for organising/leading and to Beebs for backmarking.
Hopefully see some at the C2C if not before.

Lovely day out, thanks Flymo & back-marker Beebs 🙂. I do like those nearly-roads 😃. Nice to see everyone who made it. I missed seeing anyone on their back side though , any pics 😀? Edited - I assumed a fizzy-drink fuelled sugar-rush brought about a momentary loss of balance of the Mighty Ed! I didn't catch on that the Mighty XJR had taken a lie-down too . Hope both are fine.

Fantastic day out. Thanks to Andy (and Siri ) for navigating an excellent route. Good to see everyone that I haven't seen in weeks/months/years (some I haven't seen since I was in my thirties)! It was a pleasure performing back-marking duties for you all.

Sorry I couldn't make the run start but glad I managed to catch up at Yondermanns and meet up with some old faces again and some new ones. Thanks to Andy & Beebs for sorting the run out as it must have taken some doing. I don't know what happened at Wetton Mill, as when I pulled my helmet on I saw Beebs disappear through the gate and over the bridge. I tried to catch up at Tissington ford but no signs of anyone, so went back to the pavilion at Matlock and is was so full as usual so I bimbled back home, but it was a good day so that's all that mattered. I was sorry to have missed Mack and to hear about Sue James as she was a stalwart and I can't remember any other run which she didn't attend, so condolences Trev from Andy and me. Andy was a bit miffed that his shift pattern prevented him from joining the run but that's life when you have to earn your living. For some time we have talked about sorting out a run starting at CMC Clay Cross and running around the Dukeries probably ending up at the Unicorn pub at Gunthorp bridge but it would have to be after the school holidays and probably at short notice so if anyone would be interested let us know.

Thanks Andy for the run yesterday. Good to see and catch up with everyone again. The weather was just right, well for most of us, Chris was happy after leaving Wetton mill the sun came out and warmed him up at Matlock think he turned off his heated seat.
