Hello people. I've recently had a leaking fuel cock and noticed the sieve filters on the orange pipes had come loose ( the 2 pipes, 1 short + 1 long, descending from the tank to the tap).
I can't seem to find just these pipes, not even on fowlers parts. Any suggestions / sales much appreciated, I live in the UK.

Orange pipes aren't standard, so I'd pop in to your local car accessory shop & ask what they have. If you take yours with you they can likely provide equivalents & sell by the metre.

I thought they were standard 4mm Od nylon air pipes
Though I don’t know for certain, you could buy some brass tube, of the same diameter, that’s what they used to be made of.

They say a picture paints a thousand words - I thought you meant the fuel & vacuum pipes! I don't think those filter pipes (one is for regular tank, the other for the 'reserve' bit) are available as separate items. They certainly don't appear separately here; www.oemmotorparts.com/oem5.asp?M=Yamaha&T=XJ S DIVERSION 600&Y=2000&L=YA-XJ-S-DIVERSION-600-3&O=FUEL TANK&F=YA-XJ-S-DIVERSION-600-3_bf&L2=YA-XJ-S-DIVERSION-600-3_bf I think you'll have to make the best of what you have, or look on Ebay etc for a secondhand tap that has them in place.

Don’t they just push in?
If they are loose, then you may have to expand the ends slightly, by warming and poking a thin screwdriver into the hole.

If beyond bodge/repair just rely on an inline fuel filter between tank & carbs.
