Hi, new to the forum

Hi Everyone,

New to the forum, and also new to biking (legally).

Pick up a XJ600N 1998 on Saturday.

I will be on here a lot asking for help and advice, so be prepared lol

Already have a couple of questions:
1) Is there a buying guide or anyone have buying advice?
2) I will need to replace the fork seals at some point as have slight misting. Is there a guide with helping to do this?

TIP
When you unscrew the top of the fork leg, make sure at the very least you have a rag over the top - otherwise there is a "boing" and the sounds of several pieces hitting the ceiling and then falling to the floor of the garage. Trouble is, not only don't you know what order the bits go back in, but you don't even know how many came out, or if you've found them all.

Whereabouts are you ? There may be someone close by that could come hold your hand while you do the fork seals, although they are very easy on the Divvy

I am excited to be picking the girl up tomorrow, and hopefully on the road within the week :-)

I'm based about 5 miles from Stansted airport, and if anyone would like to come and help i can offer an unlimited supply of coffee and bacon sandwiches lol
