Hi, not an expert but the early bikes used a vacumn fuel pump. Check the hoses incase its drawing air and not letting fuel through (fuel tap has three positions reserve/on/prime if i remember....)

Was it running when you got it? If not, check the usual stuff - clean the plugs, check the air filter, check the fuel tap is working. Then look for air leaks - no splits in the carb rubbers. It is usually fuel starvation on bikes that haven't been used regularly, so you might need to clean the carbs. But short of needing to do that, some carb cleaner sprayed into the carbs can sometimes get them started.

After trying to start it, are the plugs wet with fuel? If not, it's fuel starvation. That would suggest the carbs aren't clean enough.

Hi, If plugs are wet what about spark?

Just checking are you using the choke which on the early bikes is the black knob between the carbs and cylinder head on the left side of the bike?

Ok these bike have a weak starter gear, of which the teeth break. Im guessing that the start spins and just does the buzzzzzzzzzz sound. The simple check is to remove the starter motor and inside the small hole get a small screwdriver and spin the idler gear. Your looking for broken teeth. If you see any teeth broken you will need to pull the engine and split the case for this repair. It is not hard just alot of time and bagging item together. Your looking fir some broken teeth like this.

It is turning but if i push start it i will ger a little rowr from the engine Not sure what you mean from the above? As there is no need to push the starter while doing this check. You just need to remove the starter motor and turn the idler gear which is just inside the hole with a screwdriver while looking for broken teeth.

Ok thats cranking which is good..
So brings us to starting issues = spark, fuel & air
1. Early you said you cleaned parts.. what did you clean? And how?
2. Have you checked for spark? Very easy to do . Remove spark plug #1 and place the end against the engine block and press the starter. You should see a blue spark appear. If not sure you tube "how to test for spark"
3. Confirmed fuel is being delivered to carbs. Very easy test is to remove the fuel tube that goes to the carbs and place into a clear container and hit the starter. Duel should start to fill the container.

Is there fuel in the bowls? If the float is not set correctly the needle may shut off the fuel

You may need to recheck the items i mention cause its cranking but not starting which means its 1 of 3 things fuel spark air .

Also in your 2nd picture why is the petcock set in the PRIME postion.?

Has the bike been standing for a long time(more than 12 months) with the same fuel in it? if so the fuel could be duff. If poss try a separate fresh fuel supply.
If you have a good spark and fresh fuel and no joy, think about doing a compression test.
One more thing, if you don't know how old the battery is, the battery may be the problem, but do the other checks first.
I have had two bikes that turned over well enough but would not fire. In both cases a new battery sorted it. Good luck with it.

CHECK ALL THE FUSES MATE! If you're sure they are all good, check them again!
It should be in the prime position in this situation, that's what it's for!
If the plugs are wet, are they wet with fuel? Take a lighter to a wet plug after a failed start attempt and make sure it burns. To my ear it sound like a spark issue. Take the plug caps off and put the end of the HT lead between the find on the head and bit the starter, your looking for a big fat blue spark, if it is sparking good, put the caps back on and then put a plug in, rest it on the engine and look for a spark. If you have one that's good.
Look at the air intake side, the air box, make sure it's free flowing and not blocked.
After that all that, think logically!
But go back and check all your fuses again just to make sure!
